About the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Immigration officers are not part of the CBSA. Immigration officers are members of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). IRCC is the department of the government of Canada responsible for issues dealing with immigration and citizenship. The Canada Border Services Agency manages enforcement and entry control at borders and airports.
