Late or No Show Policy:

By registering you are guaranteeing that you WILL be able to attend the day of training as well as being on time.

If you are late for ANY First Aid or CPR course you will NOT be permitted to attend the training.

 You WILL be required to re-register on-line and pay any associated fees with the registration.


There will be no refund or exchange in such situation.

First Aid & CPR Course Cancellation Policy:

  1. 48 HOURS MANDATORY NOTICE is required for ANY cancellations  in order to obtain 100% refund.
  2. A $35.00 administration fee applies to ANY course cancellation OUTSIDE of 48 hours cut off time.
  3. Cancellations or switches made WITHIN 48 hours of a course will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  4. Cancellation by L.A.P.E.C. or Red Cross 100% Refund 


If you need to change or cancel your booking more then 48 hours in advance please send your
refund request form to properly document your request. (Refund requests are not considered via telephone or email, no exceptions please)

What composes the different levels of CPR training which are ‘A’, ‘C’ and ‘HCP’ (Health Care Provider).

Level ‘A’ – Duration: 4 hrs

  •  The First Aider’s Role
  •  Check, Call, Care
  •  H.A.IN.E.S. Recovery Position
  • Assisting with Medications
  • Angina and Heart Attack
  •  Stroke
  • CPR—Adult
  • Deadly Bleeding


Level ‘C’ – Duration: 5 hrs

  • Level ‘A’ content
  • Choking—child and baby
  • CPR—child and baby


Level ‘HCP’ – Duration: 6 hrs

  • Level ‘C’ content
  • Jaw thrust
  • Pulse check
  • Rescue breathing—adult, child, and baby
  • BVM—adult, child, and baby
  • Two rescuer CPR—adult, child, baby


Completion Requirements

100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written exam

Certification

3-year certification in CPR Level A, C, or HCP and AED


Recertification:  Level A: not available; Level C and HCP: 4 hours
