  • 1993, Master’s Thesis focuses on Liberian Refugees at Oru Refugee Camp, Ogun State, Nigeria.
  • 1993, founding member, African Refugees Foundation (AREF), Lagos, Nigeria. Lend helping hands to refugees in African countries during civil war i.e. Rwanda, Somali, Sudan, Kenya, Liberia, Seria Leone, Ethiopia, Djibouti, to name few.
  • Lectured at Lagos State University, Lagos. Nigeria (1997/98)
  • Participated in UNHCR/NNCFR/AREF repatriation Project of Liberian Refugees from Nigeria/Ghana to Monrovia, Liberia for election in (1997)
  • Graduate Assistant at Center for Refugee Studies, at York University, Toronto, Canada. Attended immigration and refugee conferences in Canada, USA, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, (2008/2009)
  • A member of Canadian Council for Refugees that reviewed and issue a report card on the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, 2001/2002. Our report of 2003, in Manitoba prompted legislative changes that offered more protection to refugees in Canada.
  • Represented many refugees and immigrants in and outside Canada to obtain legal immigration status. Many have become Canadian citizens or permanent residents (2003-Date)
